What Is Happi Notes?
Happi Notes is a curriculum based school that offers the Early Childhood Music Program from Perfect Praise Music. This piano based program introduces children as young as 6 months to the piano and a wide variety of other instruments. Research indicates that the younger a child starts to be involved with active musical participation, the greater the benefit for enhanced academics throughout their life. Bio - As a teacher of children ranging from preschool to sixth grade for almost 27 years, I’m very familiar with the classroom and what benefit music has on children and learning. About two years ago I began introducing a piano-based Early Childhood Music program that was developed by Denie Riggs to my current four and five year old students. I was very impressed with the benefits that this program had on the students and the fun they had learning music. By the end of the first semester several of my students were able to read music and play songs on the piano. Now I’m so excited to be able to offer this unique opportunity to children in this area.
